Squash NT is currently seeking to employ a person for the position of Centre Manager.
About the job
The Centre Manager is responsible for both the safe operation and ongoing financial viability of the Darwin Squash Centre, along with regular communication with and assistance of the organisation’s key stakeholders to grow the sport within the NT.
The successful application will lead and manage the rostering of a small team for seven day per week operations to instigate an active Centre through promotions, activities, and programs.
About you
- Outstanding customer service
- Good interpersonal negotiation and leadership skills
- High level of enthusiasm, energy, and motivation
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Current RSA and First Aid certificates
- Hands on management style
- Proven experience managing a sporting facility, and/or a small to medium commercial business
- Ability to liaise with the NT Government and Government Corporations
- Experience sourcing grant money an advantage, but not essential
Remuneration: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum plus super, determined by experience
This role is based at the Darwin Squash Centre, 9 Marrara Drive, Marrara, NT, and will be a permanent full-time position.
